Winning Contracts with Big Science Facilities

If you are a company offering goods and services to big science facilities, this post is for you.

As many contractors would know, there is a significant difference between negotiating a contact with a private-sector customer and winning one with a big science facility. Unlike commercial transactions with private-sector entities, procurement by big science facilities will either be subject to the EU procurement directives or, in case of facilities incorporated as international organisations or ERICs, to a more tailored set of procurement rules. In either case, procurement by big science facilities is regulated and, unless a specific exemption apply, the award of contracts will follow a formal tender process with specific set of rules.

The art of preparing successful tender proposals and winning contracts with big science facilities is the subject matter of a training seminar that X-officio will be delivering in collaboration with Big Science Sweden. The first training session will be held on 28 February 2019 in Lund, Sweden. For further information and registration, click here.
