X-officio is seeking a Financial Planning Associate to support our work with European research infrastructures and international research initiatives.

Key responsibilities
Contribute to financial planning and funding models for European research infrastructures.
Support the preparation of long-term financial plans and cost models covering the lifecycle of research infrastructures (implementation, operation and decommissioning phases).
Analyse cost structures, budgets and financial projections for new and existing research infrastructure initiatives.
Support the preparation of financial planning reports, cost books and funding model analyses.
Contribute to financial analysis related to the establishment and sustainability of research infrastructure organisations, in particular ERICs.
Profile
Degree in economics, finance, public policy, research management or a related field.
Experience in financial planning, financial modelling, budgeting or economic analysis.
Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to work with complex financial and strategic information.
Excellent written English.
Ability to work independently in an international and remote working environment.
Experience or familiarity with European research infrastructures, EU research programmes, or ESFRI/ERIC initiatives is considered an advantage.
